Default Rejected Master

Once you figure out your software problem I suggest sending 2 or 3 masters
on high quality (HHB,Mitsui ect) burned at 1X to 2X.This way if you have a
problem with one they will have the others as back up.Always burn DAO for
your masters and listen to your master closely before sending it in.Never
asume it burned OK.

Hi There

I am new to this area of the process and was wondering if someone
could shed some light on a couple of problems.

I had a master rejected from the duplicating house.I'm on Mac os 9.1
and burned the master at 2x on Jam 2.6. The company explained the
problem and told me to try this:

Hi,

Transition Area Containing Data problem could create a pop or click on
the
master.

Here is some information you could tell your customers about this
problem:

~Reburn the master using disc-at-once format, instead of
track-at-once.

~There is no data in the transition areas.

~The master is not conforming with Orange Book Specifications.

I have a Que USB burner 4x4x8x and Support said it supported disc at
once burning . I tried it in toast with DAO and it seemed to work
fine. But I need it to be in Jam and I couldn't find a setting for DAO
in Jam.

Does anyone have any idea if I can confirm if my CD was recorded as
DAO or Track at Once after I have burned it?

Also I was also unable to pause longer than 5 seconds between tracks
in Jam 2.6.

Does anyone know why?

Thanks very much

John Allan
