Once you figure out your software problem I suggest sending 2 or 3 masters
on high quality (HHB,Mitsui ect) burned at 1X to 2X.This way if you have a problem with one they will have the others as back up.Always burn DAO for your masters and listen to your master closely before sending it in.Never asume it burned OK. -- Thanks Troy Tremblay Alternate Root Studio www.alternate-root.com 1(604)506-0781 John Allan wrote in message om... Hi There I am new to this area of the process and was wondering if someone could shed some light on a couple of problems. I had a master rejected from the duplicating house.I'm on Mac os 9.1 and burned the master at 2x on Jam 2.6. The company explained the problem and told me to try this: Hi, Transition Area Containing Data problem could create a pop or click on the master. Here is some information you could tell your customers about this problem: ~Reburn the master using disc-at-once format, instead of track-at-once. ~There is no data in the transition areas. ~The master is not conforming with Orange Book Specifications. I have a Que USB burner 4x4x8x and Support said it supported disc at once burning . I tried it in toast with DAO and it seemed to work fine. But I need it to be in Jam and I couldn't find a setting for DAO in Jam. Does anyone have any idea if I can confirm if my CD was recorded as DAO or Track at Once after I have burned it? Also I was also unable to pause longer than 5 seconds between tracks in Jam 2.6. Does anyone know why? Thanks very much John Allan |
