It is until there are distribution rights involved. On my browser,
the iPlayer displays the message "Sorry, this programme is only
available to play in the UK". The link explains there are
restrictions on showing it outside the UK. I assume they are using IP-
based geolocation to determine I'm not in the UK.

I *have* heard of a work round, which may have involved such an item.

I didn't check any further, as when I'm mobile, whether or not I'm in
the UKin the UK, I log in using 3G & things either "Just work" or I
can't tell if it's settings or just a bad connection.

Is this the one that is playing on the VH1 Soul cable channel in the
US? Something was on last night like this as I was flipping channels...
