Well, that was always the rumor. Howard was actually a nice guy in
real life and his appearances were only an act. It's kind of like that
scene in "The Elephant Man" where someone asks Anthony hopkins about
John Merrick's intelligence. "He's a complete idiot. I hope to God
he is, anyway."
