Default Looking for info: Digital Designs LS161

Posted this on r.a.p a few days ago, no response... so I'll try it he

I have a set of these small studio monitors(?), and I'm trying to find out what
the "A/M" rocker switch is on the back. Auto/Manual? Ass/Munch? Anyone have
any ideas?

TIA

I can't find any reference anywhere to Digital Designs LS161, so can't help
you. If there's nothing about them on the web, it may account for why you
didn't get an answer earlier. Who are Digital Designs, and can you contact
them for an answer?

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I found a website for Digital Designs at www.ddaudio.com, but it appears all
they do these days is car-audio speakers (the web search that gave me their site
did list them as manufacturers of "car and studio" speakers, but there's nothing
on their site now about studio systems). I also found several reviews (such as
http://mixguides.com/studiomonitors/...udio-monitors/)
from 1998 listing them (with the same URL) as making studio monitors.

I tried emailing them via their contact form, and it bounced... WTF?? I found
an old post on Craigslist of someone selling another model of studio monitors
from them, but that contact email bounced as well.

That's no excuse for nobody answering though - I didn't post in r.a.p just so
someone else could do a web search for me. I was hoping someone in these parts
has actually USED this brand before.
