Looking for info: Digital Designs LS161
I have a set of these small studio monitors(?), and I'm trying to find out what
the "A/M" rocker switch is on the back. Auto/Manual? Ass/Munch? Anyone have any ideas? TIA |

I own a pair of Digital Design monitors and like them quite a bit. I don't use the EQ switch, since that is exactly what I WASN'T looking for in a monitor (still isn't ). In all, I find them very pleasant to use, trust their sound, and they are easy on the ears - they are not fatiguing at all when used in the flat setting. Way back when, I was told they were a subsidiary of sorts for Urie/JBL......don't know if that's true or not. I blew out the woofers way back when and thier customer support was very, very good. Their head guy (or one of them?) answered my questions and explained many things to me about power, clipping, heat, speakers, specs, etc. and helped me with the new woofers (which were a tad different than the originals). I haven't needed them since, which appears to be a good thing, since they seem to no longer be in the studio monitor biz, if in biz at all. Now watch, after posting this I will blow the speakers after all of these years and be SOL. |
