Default Do inductors degrade?

Thinking of taking inductors out of 30 year old speakers to re-use in a new
crossover I'm building. Will they have degraded?

Very unlikely the wire will have, however the insulation may have. If you do
not stress them mechanically it may not matter anyway. As long as there are
no shorted turns, they should be fine.
