Avid Listener is a directory of Web links to high-end audio
manufacturers, distributors, retail stores, and information resources.
The focus is on two-channel stereo audio reproduction. Our audience
includes home audio and music enthusiasts, as well as home audio
industry professionals.

Unlike automated search engines, Avid Listener's bookmarks are
meticulously researched by experienced audiophiles. Each bookmark is
manually verified every two months, to minimize broken links.

In an effort to improve your Web surfing productivity, we recently
added a JavaScript-enabled tool tip that provides a thumbnail image
preview, along with other information. Just roll your mouse pointer
over a link; and the tool tip will appear --- then click on the link to
open it in a new Window.

We're in the midst of updating the Retail Stores links for the United
States and Canada. If you are aware of a high-end audio dealer Web
site that is not listed on Avid Listener, please let us know using the
