Default Storage for Beyer 260

I recently picked up a sankified Beyer 260 and wanted to check on the
proper storage method. I know that RCA type mics should be stored
upright but am not sure what these require.

Thanks for your advice.

I remember being told to store my M160 with the dot up. There's a red dot on
the body. Apparently when stored dot up, the ribbons are less likely to sag.

Store them with the ribbon upright. The dot on the side indicates the
top of the ribbon.

Thanks for the help. The red dot is the critical piece I had been
missing!
