But very few people post there compared to more individual preference oriented
forums such as the Audio Asylum, with its many subdivisions, the Audiogon
discussion groups, the Steve Hoffman web site, and the Phonogram mailing list.

Both the Audio Asylum and Phonogram are moderated, but people feel comfortable
expressing their indvidual preferences there because, unlike what frequently
happens on RAHE, they aren't challenged to "prove it" almost everytime they
offer an opinion. The number of posts on RAHE is quite small IMHO because of
the confrontational environment that has been established there.


But as you correctly imply, their goal is apparently to end up with a very
small RAO where only clones spouting the same meaningless propaganda will
be
heard.
