Default VOX files (Dialogic ADPCM)

Hi all. Can anyone recommend a program to convert sound files to Dialogic
ADPCM VOX format? On the PC.

I have tried Wavelab and the export functions of Cubase and Vegas and they
don't have it.

I see tons of shareware converter apps coming up in Google searches but
don't have a clue which way to go.

Thanks for any help...!

CoolEdit was able to save as mu-law and A-law. Adobe bought it, and I
haven't been using it on the Mac so I don't know for sure what became
of it.

There is also another called AWave that you may be able to find.

Is that format related to Vox? Sorry if I'm too rookie on these telephony
formats...

Sorry, I just figured you knew since you were asking such a specific
question. Yes, ADPCM can come in many flavors, but those are the two
Dialogic ones.

If you can find Soundforge 4.5 with the batch converter, this will take care
of it for you as well. Also, VoxStudio will do this as well. www.xentec.be
