I guess I should have said you should give quality tube gear a try some time in
a quality high end system. I know there was plenty of cheap garbage back when
tube gear was mostly used.

people accusing you of horrible sexual things seem just a little bit more
credible?

You might just understand why some people like tubes.

Having suffered with the well-known and obvious failings of tubes for
years and years when we had no viable option, only increases the
mystery.

Pain? I think maybe you've been doing this audio thing completely wrong. Are
you really dumb enough to think your playback has no audible distortion in it?
