![]() Hello, I am interested in getting Pro quality CD sound like the ones you hear in commercial CDs. I have all the latest/greatest software available with the latest Cubase sequencer. I have the complete Waves effect and use VSTi Synth/Samplers. I can also get access to other software effects. I have access to all the latest sample libraries. So if I use Cubase as the mixer then is it possible to make PRO quality CDs. For mastering I use the latest Steinberg Waves software. The Vocals I see as the main issue. I have a Marchall MXL 2003 microphone and the Berringer Ultragain Pro pre-amp. Have a M_Audio 24-bit soundcard. I can not seem to get the PRO sound, I am not an expert in mixing and mastering. I don't do any live recoring of instruments. My music is synth/sampler based. I use guitar but for that I use the POD and also have Virtual guitarist and RealGuitarist software. So is it possible to get pro sound with my setup (i have high quality software synths also). Any help with answering this question will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
