Well, there are plenty of people who don't answer blocked phone calls, reasoning that if someone is concealing their name (which usually is what's displayed anyway), they aren't someone worth answering. I suspect that it's especially true for someone who is operating a "professional/referral" type business like a consulting psychologist. After all, they probably feel even more strongly about telephone solicitors, most of whom block their IDs. BTW, you should get on the national "do not call" list. I did and my solicitations went from about 10-20 a day to maybe three or four a week at most. Frankly, I think this obsession is turning from a source of amusement to something a bit scary. Obviously, the fact that he is precisely listed in the Yellow Pages isn't good enough for you. Now you must CALL the guy? It's already been done, remember? |

The first one is the one that accepts that there are laws of physics and that audio must conform to them and that there are no magic rocks, wires, or clarifiers. There are no major sonic differences between amps, preamps, or CD players so long as they are Solid State and competently designed to give flat Frequency Response. There are ways to discover subtle differences between such devices and that involves the use of a Double Blind comparison. There is the other group that espouse the idea that if somebody heard it, it must be real, even if it conflicts with the laws of physics, as in the case of things like Shakti Stones. Those who have pointed out that some of the ideas that people have about audio don't match reality are offended by having these things pointed out to them. In response they have decided that it is OK for them to use any lie any tactic no matter how repulsive or demeaning to try and make them either go away or lose credibility. They claim that the first group is anti-choice. They claim the first groups says that everything sounds the same. This has been going on for at least 10 years that I know of, most of the really nasty stuff is directed at Arny Krueger, but it could be anybody who thinks that a DBT is a way to find audible differences. |

My perspective is that there are basically two groups of people that haunt this place. Actually, there are 3 groups. #1.: The first one is the one that accepts that there are laws of physics and that audio must conform to them and that there are no magic rocks, wires, or clarifiers. #2.: There is the other group that espouse the idea that if somebody heard it, it must be real, even if it conflicts with the laws of physics, as in the case of things like Shakti Stones. #3.: And then there's me. -- Sander de Waal " SOA of a KT88? Do you know what makes them different than the White pages? You must have learned your search techniques from Arnold Krueger. I got this listing from Yellow.com: Richman Bruce J PhD . North Miami Beach, FL ... Address deleted manually by me because this is RAO, after all. Ironic given that finding the home address is so simple. Tell that to Mike. Since nobody ever answers that phone number listed for the office building, I was hoping to find a home number. I have had the ofc. number for months and tried calling it, but as I said, nobody ever answers. It rings several times and then a message says "The party is not answering, we're sorry but your call will now be disconnected." This happens no matter when I try to call, and that has only been during normal business hours or during daylight hours on weekends. Look, YOU IDIOT! By your own words, you have proved that you have been lying all along. You said, just earlier this day, that you could find no listing for him. In Miami. The one I called is in N. Miami. I asked about Miami because he made reference to it in his CV. have you recovered from yesterday's meltdown? The one where you revealed yourself to be a liar and internet stalker. What meltdown? I didn't lie. I didn't stalk. I guess that means you're the one doing the lying. Complete inability to comprehend reality noted. Complete lack of self awareness noted Reasonable conclusions to be drawn from McKelvy's behavior noted. Continuation of delusional beliefs by McKelvy noted./ Predictable continuation of lying by McKelvy noted. Bruce J. Richman |

At the other end of the bar, some think that some Scotches taste better than others. Which end are you at? Also, at one end of the bar are people that respect and welcome the choices of others to disagree with their personal preferences. At the other end of the bar are a few people that regularly insult and ridicule those that have certain preferences and hypocritially call them "bigots".and "tweako-freakos". Bruce J. Richman |
