Do there exist desktop players for audio files (MP3), that have a hard disk
like the Apple iPOD, that do not have to be attached to a computer, and that can be attached to a stereo system. I know that an iPOD with a dock can do this; but do there exist any standalone units that will do this? I'm not talking about machines playing CD-Rs or DVD-Rs, but with a hard disk, that holds a lot more songs, so that playlists can be re-organized and programmed. I would suspect that a Tivo-like machine could do this but are there any just for audio files? Thanks. |
