I want a fat, thick, rich, warm eq to add to my arsenal. It seems that the API
550B is the way to go by its reputation. But the Midas EQ is also pretty fat and warm, and is less money and you get nice mic pres. I've never used the API, has anyone compared the two eqs? THe XL 42 is the same as the one on the Midas big time console. Thanks Frank |
