So you'll use post fader aux sends for a monitor mix? If not, you only have
4 on the LX7 and you could have 4 on the Midas by switching two to prefade.
The LX7 does seem more flexible as far as pre/post aux switching, but your
example is bad.

Someone here is looking at the LX7 as a multitrack recording console
and I've been trying to tell him what's wrong with using it in that
application (mostly awkward for overdubbing) but I'll bet he'd
apprecaiate some feedback on the sound, particularly of the mic
preamps, particularly compared with A&H's GL series which he's also
looking at.

Have you been using the LX7 long enough to have an opinion?
