Default Monitors for orchestral music

Hi,
I compose orchestral music using samplers on pc and I'm looking for a couple
of powered monitors that best works with this kind of music, with a budget
of about 600 euro.
What can you suggest me?
Thank you very much.
Bye.

I've read it, but if possible I'd like to have a specific suggestion
regarding monitors that work better for orchestral music...
Thanks.
Bye.

Since you are equating mixing an orchestra with mixing samples, you
must have some really excellent sample libraries (and must really know
how to use them!) Can you tell us which sample collections you are
using, and what are some of their strengths and weaknesses?

I know it's a little off-topic, but I would be interested to know
anyway.

I use and like a lot "Advanced Orchestra" library, complete and well
recorded.
I've even heard "Miroslav Vitous" orchestra, very good, but it's too
expensive for me...
I've not yet tryed it, but I've been told that a good compromise between
quality and price is
"Garritan Personal Orchestra". You can find infos here
http://www.garritan.com/home.html
Using really good a virtual orchestra is not really easy, but with a not too
long experience you can obtain incredible results and satisfactions!
If you have other questions feel free to ask.
Bye!
