Default 3/4" & 1/4" decks available for Non-Profit NYC

Hello folks,

We have a some older format audio and video decks available FREE to
any non-profit organization that would like to pick them up and take
them off our hands. These decks were recently decommissioned in
working condition (and replaced, of course, by digital equivalents).
The decks are in fair cosmetic shape (from years of use at an
educational institution) and assumed to be fully functional (except
for the one as noted), although no guarantee is made as to their exact
electrical or physical condition. Basically, we have a very limited
amount of space in our Equipment Center and need to make room for
items more applicable to our current configuration.

If you are interested in any or all of these decks, please reply to me
at: . The decks will be available on a first
e-mail/first serve basis, although if the decks are not picked up in a
timely manner (2 weeks?) then they will be made available to the next
responder. Non-profit status paperwork will need to be submitted to
my supervisor. We are located just off Union Square in Manhattan, and
pick-up must be done during regular business hours.

The exact models and amounts we have a

Sony VO-5850 3/4" Umatic video decks (2 in stock)
Sony VO-5800 3/4" Umatic video deck (1 in stock)
Sony VO-9800 3/4" Umatic SP video decks (2 in stock)
Otari MX-5050 1/4" 2-track audio decks (3 in stock, one of which is
slightly disassembled and presumed somehow non-functional)

Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. However, I am not really
interested in doing thorough tests or specifications investigation on
these decks since I am busy with more current projects. Thanks a
bunch.

Cheers,
