Default Remastering and Repairing

The Happenings - My Mammy (1967) Stereo. I try to determine who utilizes a digital audio editor to repair damaged tape audio. While Steve Massie did a fine job for Varese, licensed from Rhino, it only took a couple minutes to rid a bad tape portion and digitally enhanced, while removing non-music "clicks". The second to last "I'd walk a million miles" [before fade] was replaced due to tape damage. Both Stereo channels were replaced. Replacing one channel, while not an impossibility, it can easily foul phasing! Both Stereo channels were replaced. Replacing one channel, while not an impossibility, it case easily foul phasing! But let's be fair, during the replaced portion the hand-clapping momentarily stops. So it's a trade-off, would people notice it (missing clapping) or would they notice the (short section) garbled tape?....
