Who determines what artists get played on a corporate station's holiday playlist?

Coincidentally, as I read your post, my local college radio station is
playing a punk song entitled "Santa Claus is a Child Molester." I don't
think it'll make top 40, though, if only because of the number of times
they use the word "****."
