IIRC, I was the first to mention the name "Peter Belt" in a
conversation with SHP.

Furthermore, I have not seen him (or her) "selling" anything.
The tweaks posted here, can be done with material that everybody
already has at his disposal, and cost very little time to implement.
No references to commercial products were made by SHP.

So, to infer that SHP actually is May Belt or in any way attached to
the "Belt dynasty" is IMHO premature and not proven.

I did admire your erudite impressions but could add very little of my
own.
My experience of concert halls is very limited. As a kid I first heard
"serious"
music from the back rows of the upper gallery of Warsaw Philharmonic
which was as much as I could afford at that time. After that Vancouver
venues became the limit of my concert hall experience.
Much as I love this city I can not claim it to be of major world
musical interest.
One P.S. I expect that very soon Dick Pierce et al will be
ridiculing
what they are pleased to group as "the audiophiles" for putting
aspirine
under their loudspeakers. He went on for years about the green marking
pen rims for cds.

However, I have not seen any mention of Belt *in this newsgroup* by

other kinds of animals or other types of medications. How about a
caterpillar paired with a Valium? A ladybug combined with a frozen dollop

Thanks! In the small undeveloped village where I come from, I was the
local hifi audio guru. (We were too superstitious to engage a witch
doctor). With the lack of medical facilities, or the experts to run
them, people often died of all kinds of treacherous diseases and the
like. But they had the finest sounding hifi systems on the island to
listen to whilst they were dying. And that's thanks to me. And now the

I thought so as well. Note that they don't claim the L-shape holds any
special properties for audio, if you draw it on CDs or whatever.
They've tested everything but using this shape, and I've tested it with
nothing but audio. Apparently, the side benefits of improving my audio
system by exploiting the shape's benefits extend beyond good sound, but
it's supposed to make you feel better as well. (Though they are careful
not to claim medical benefits... you don't want the FDA messing with
you!)

I'm sure that the researchers associated with those shapes and symbols,
no matter how much research they may have done, have to endure no less
ridicule from their scientific associates, or agriculturalists, or
anyone that might have a dismissive opinion but has never applied the
science or properly evaluated the research. Such is the fate of the
scientific pioneer....

I must admit that the quality of our education system isn't what it
used to be.
However, how would I know, I just took a soldering iron some day and
started tinkering.
