What are the nature of the audio discussions here? When opinions are
solicited, do responses come from personal experience or from theory?
Thanks.

Mostly flames and personal attacks. Many written at the
third grade, or lower level. Many scatological references.
Continual bashing of most religions, political, and sexual
persuasions.
Some years ago some highly pathological individuals decided
to take this place over to elimiate opinions that they
disagreed with. It takes a lot of intense work to keep an
entire Usenet group this fouled-up, but they are willing to
make any sacrifice in an ongoing futile attempt to have
their way.
If you remember that old-old Star Trek episode about a
creature that spawned conflict and strife so that it could
feast on hatred and malice, you've got a pretty good idea
about what's been happening here for the last 5 or more
years.

Most responses here are full of personal animosity, bile and
crap.
There are other Usenet and HTML-baed audio groups. If you
are serious about audio, go there.

Google tells us (truthfully, I'm sure) that you, Arnii Krooborg, have accused
Normals of lying approximately 2500 times. And that's just on RAO -- I didn't
search any other groups.
2500 instances of people "lying", Arnii. It's a plague, and you're the only

Given that I've been by no means 100% inclusive in pointing

that for a low number.

Lies, lies, lies... everywhere you look. So monotonous. What's a god-fearing,

Funny how you only claim to have "baited" somebody after you've been shown to be
wrong. Up until that moment, you're always totally sincere, doing your
egomaniacal "debating trade" dance.
I don't expect you to acknowledge any of your bad behavior or personality
faults. That's a lost cause. I'm really just talking about you because I'm bored

To the OP, you'll certainly see a lot of animus on this newsgroup.
Hang around a while and you'll draw your own conclusions about which
side you will tend to gravitate toward. And you'll also draw your own

Hi Sam,
The response from Mr. Krueger is amazingly honest considering he's been *by
far* the most prolific poster to RAO in the last 7 or 8 years. Specifically,
Mr. Krueger has a combination of a foul mouth, dirty mind and an anger
management problem. Especially women and gays are targeted daily by Mr.
Krueger and his tiny ring of worshippers. I have been called a crossdresser,
transsexual, transvestite, bitch and **** by Mr. Krueger and his worshippers
for simply disagreeing with them. I have also received direct e-mail threats
from them and lately, attempts to hack my account have taken place. This is
actually not unexpected because Mr. Krueger's little militia -like militias
in general- seem to occupy the lowest levels of our society. Among them,
intolerance, ignorance and hatred are the only hope of better tomorrow.
Cheers,
Margaret

dave, didn't I release you from your dupehood? You have to stop agreeing with me
or else Arnii will draft you into my "clique". Ordinarily that would not be a
problem. At the present time, however, membership goals are completely
satisfied, so new applications are not being accepted. I think it best if the
un-cliqued Normals officially tell Arnii that their common ground is not so much
a clique as simply being human.

IMHO Arnold post describes correctly RAO situation :
"Most responses here are full of personal animosity, bile
and crap."
An Arnold's final advice is IMHO the best someone can give.
"There are other Usenet and HTML-baed audio groups. If you

You might want to ask what the $9575 was. Just guessing, but
it was probably a commission on a real estate sale. That
means that the $9575 was gross income for a sales
organization, not an amount of money that a single
individual added to his taxable gross income for the year.

Arnie, you moron.
$9575 would be a 7% commission on a $127,667 house.
More likely it is his 25% selling or
buying agent's cut of a 7% commission on a $510,667 house.
You know that he doesn't work in the slums
of Detroit.

Just goes to show what an idiot you are, Art. There's plenty
of $500,000 properties in the slums of Detroit, they are
just not typical single-family dwellings. I guess Art that

Exactly. "So what" is a valid response to most of what
Sackman posts here. What he finds remarkble is to most
people, less than trivial.

It's an appropriate response to an asshole like Malesweski when
he suggests I had a slow day because I made a post at 10pm.
Your disdain is misplaced. Malesweski has demonstrated much
more disdainful behavior.

Some Realtors are unashamed liars. Your two best buddies on

So your envy, bitterness and failing attempts to rationalize your own

all along. It is still helluva lot more than you and your 2 monkeys made

Now Margaret, maybe we should give poor Krooger a break. He has confessed on a
couple of occasions that he gets into so many arguments, he can't be expected to
remember what he's claimed in every single one of them.
As you noted, earlier in this same thread poor Arnii claimed that Tom was
exaggerating the amount he earned on that sale. Arnii invented a fact-free way
of interpreting the reported commission in order to rationalize his baseless
claim.
Now Krooger is, uh, feigning stupidity in order to admit he was talking out of
his ass as usual. (Was Arnii feigning? Only the unconsulted psychiatrist knows
for sure.)
When it comes to the Krooborg and its trio of Kroopologists, any dodge is
acceptable. This is the "debating trade", after all. ;-)
