Default Fishman acoustic guitar amp question

I played through one this weekend and loved it but didn't have any way
to plug into a PA to see the out put quality.

Anyone here ever tried it to see and if so is it a combo of the pre +
speaker or does the pre stand on its own?

Love the sound of the amp :-)

I don' t know why you would want to plug it into a PA. If you need to
route it to the PA, just mic it. The quality of the the output of any
amplifier is always a combination of the pre-amp, power amp, speaker
and enclosure.

Open mics are more work. Direct outs are always easier so if the pre
is good and the speaker is secondary then the amp is worth a lot more
to me.

I do a lot of solo work so having a simple setup makes my life a lot
easier.
