My son has a Denon AVR686. We have disconnected it entirely from the
system because it powers on (green light flashes) and waits the allotted time to stabilize the outputs and turns them on. As soon as the relay clicks on, it apparently opens again and the power light does a fast red flash. I suspect that that means there is a fault in the power output section. Does anyone have experience with the Denon receivers and know if it is worth trying to fix the thing? It is about 3 years old. |

They (at minimum) require a service manual. I suggest you contact Denon and ask for a nearby Denon service guy who has experience with their products. Trevor Wilson |
