Default Recording acoustic guitar with Studio Projects C1

Should I have the top of the mic pointed at the guitar (at 12th fret for
instance) or should the mic be standing perpindicular to the ground in which
case the sides are pointing at the guitar?

thanks,

brian

It's a side-address microphone.

If in doubt, feed it to headphones and talk into it from different
angles. You'll soon discover which is "front".
