You're right ~ 1971! My glasses needed cleaning. In a blur, the "1"
resembled a "4". Mea Culpa! At least I read the MD 421 correctly. Is
there a name for a vision "typo"?

Vision typos and languages aside, the MD441 is one excellent dynamic
mic. I wish I had bought several of these instead of the many "good
for the price" cheap condenser mics I don't use anymore in my mic
locker.
