I need to get some software mainly for recording with MIDI. I'll work
from a keyboard, putting songs into decent arrangements with samples of mainly aoustic things like drumkit, strings and brass. Songwriting and arrangements are my main thing, jazz influenced. I downloaded Ableton and I like its structure - you can easily work in chunks like intro, verse, chorus. Haven't looked very far into it and I haven't used any other packages - others suggest Logic or Cubase. What's the opinion of you guys? Would Ableton do all I need, or should I look at Cubase or Logic? I have a PC, but could go MAC if I had to. Thanks! Andy Evans |
