Great little device. I use it to record audio from my main sound
board to my video audio inputs. Works great. This is audio that already processed through filters, etc.. This device just keeps the volume steady. It will also work in Live recording sessions too. It was meant to be used in your home audio system to regulate TV volume. I use it in a church and at home to regulate recording to tape,cd, and video. Since it is hands off, the church folks cannot mess with the setttings and I hid it behind the board because it is so small. I had an Alesis Compressor limiter (C/L) there but they just had to keep turning the knobs. This device stopped that. I would not depend too much on this in extreme pro-audio recording though. In that case you need a good C/L. |
