LA Public Classical Radio- KUSC and Clearchannel partnering....

James Boyk wrote: Is it just my imagination, or does KUSC have a very rough-textured sound, as though (for instance) a DAC were misadjusted? I have no fine FM tuner and don't claim to be able to make good judgments; but even on the car radio, their sound is noticeably worse than KMZT's. I found this researching a "what kind of cd player do they use?" question on RAO (don't hold it against me!): http://www.rwonline.com/reference-ro...f_kusc_2.shtml I don't know what an "SAS 64000 Digital Audio Router" is, but if everything goes through it, I'd wonder. http://www.sasaudio.com/64000/64page.html This doesn't help me, but maybe it will help you, Stephen |
