I went to the Tom Petty Concert in Bozeman MT this weekend.

An entire concert of nothing but Petty hits (actually, there was one new song
and one cover, but the new song "Melinda" will probably be a hit) and some of
the finest playing that I have ever witnessed live.

Kudos to the sound guys, the "Brick" is a horrible sounding arena and the sound
was still great.

Straight forward rock'n' roll, great arrangements, excellent execution.

It was Scovill. He just signed a two year deal with Petty to do live
work-left the MB20 tour to take it. You should have introduced yourself.
He's one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet.

If it was Robert Scovill I would not be surprised! He is the best live guy

PBS just ran a recent live show of his, and whoever mixed it for
broadcast sure didn't like bass guitar.

I love that band.
