I have a pair of Vandersteen 2C speakers languishing in my basement and
I'd like to find a new home for them. I am the second owner of these
wonderful monsters and I enjoyed them immeasurably for the first three
years I had them when I had a room big enough to contain them, but I've
been in my current house since 1989 and there simply isn't enough space
for them here. I kept holding out hope that I'd build a home theatre
in the basement that could handle them, but it isn't going to happen.

They are in very good (not mint) condition and include the original 2C
stands as well as a pair of lead-shot filled heavy duty stands. I also
have the original packing boxes if that matters to you.

I don't want to bother with ebay or shipping them, so this sale will be
limited to those within driving distance of Chicago who are willing to
come and pick them up. (I am in the far western suburbs.)
