Speed up tempo of recorded pro tools tracks
Looking for a simple way to speed up the time from about 120 beats per
minute to about 128 beats per minute for all the tracks recorded in a Pro Tools session. I'm looking to do this with the stock Pro Tools software, and not have to buy any additional hardward or software.. is this possible or not?? Thank you. |

You'll have to do the math to figure out how much of a percentage change 128BPM is compared to 120, or do it by pitch. You can download it for free he http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...=1&itemid=4942 There are also more advanced plug-ins, including Pitch Doctor, Pitch N' Time, and Digi's own X-Form, which generally cost around $400-$500, with improved sound quality (particularly for speed changes without pitch changes or vice-versa). --MFW |
