I'm having problems with a wireless. It's an UHF-R Wireless System, E6
countryman, transmitting to a SHURE UR4D; one of 8 in my system. It seemed to work fine for a couple of weeks, RF signals were fine, no drops of transmitting. However now, with NEW batteries, within a minute or so there's dropouts. Receiver keeps going from "No Transmitter" to "Ready"/"Signal" or whatever it is. If I recall correctly the RF signals seemed week when all this is happening. Which makes since, BUT it's been working fine for over a month. Can a frequency issue cause this? ( I should state that this a fixed location. Not a traveling rig. ) Plans for Testing: 1. Try another frequency with existing transmitter (checking for frequency problems) 2. Use another transmitter using original frequency (checking for faulty transmitter) Is there anything else to take into consideration? Also if there is an issue with RF, are there any available resources for recommended RF for specific areas? Thanks in advance ! |
