Some of these mags give away the subscriptions to boost the eyeballs so the advertisers have big numbers to pay for. Speaking of this subject.... When i saw the thread about the RNC sales numbers, can anyone wonder why the magazines and advertisers are catering to the home/project studios these days? And that's in perspective against FMR's very low magazine advertising effort and low company profile. (At least they got some pro in their profile.) But I imagine the numbers for some other pieces of kit are even more impressive, thought the gear might not be so impressive.
