Bang & Olufsen beomaster 5000 problem ???

i can't figure out how to get the speaker wires into the beomaster 5000.
its got holes for the
wires but there doesn't seem to be any kind of clamp down system for the
wires or any
way to get the wires into the holes(unless maybe the wires need to be
soldered on the ends), please help

Hello,

If this is the older Beomaster 5000 and the speaker connectors have a
flat blade and a round pin, then what you need are DIN speaker plugs
that go into the sockets on the amp (receiver). They are not supposed
to take bare wire. Depending what country you are in DIN speaker plugs
may be difficult to find. You can also buy speaker cables with factory
installed DIN speaker plugs.

If all else fails, contact B&O for plugs.
