I want to work at the 176.4 kHz sample rate, and I'm having trouble
with the M-Audio Audiophile 192. The Spdif output is flaky. There is a thread discussing this: http://forum.rightmark.org/topic.cgi?id=4:756 I tried M-Audio's helpline, but I couldn't afford to waste so many cel minutes waiting for a rep. to answer. The analog output seems fine, but I don't like the sound of the DAC, it's quite pinched in the top end, and there's some RF hash on the output. Is there a 2 channel PCI card that sucessfully accomplishes spdif at these higher rates? Thanks, Sean B |
