Little Brettie was ( and still is) a dreamer. He told us that his
parents were not exactly enthusiastic about claiming identity other
than that of the country they lived in: the U.S. of A.. ("We were not
allowed to speak German at home" he said). But Brettie was not going
to let his Ma and Pa tell him what to think. He saw the newsreels of
crowds cheering and chanting, he saw the uniforms, he heard the songs
and fell in love with the irresistible march of swastikaed
battalions.led by the screaming man with a funny mustache.

Ah, the dreams!: His longed- for kin conquer and rule all from Paris
to Vladivostok. The inferior Slavs and such kept in their place as
labourers and servants. ( All the secondary schools were closed down
in Poland under the Nazi occupation) The Jews, behaving as though they
were as good as the master race swept out of the way into the gas
chambers. The real Germanic scientists free to continue and expand
their race-improving experimentation on living slaves. One village
annihilated for one German killed by the resistance. Onwards to the
glorious future

America, where Brettie lives, could have joined in once it got rid of
Nazi-haters such as that "whoreson FDR" (Brettie's feelings make him
lose control of his language) who gave Lend and Lease to the U.K. and
then accepted Hitler's declaration of war and conducted the
"fratricidal" struggle to the final victory.

The dream ended with the suicide of the Fuhrer and his crew under the
ruins of Berlin.
Just think! Brettie could have been the Gauleiter of Chicago. All he
has left are the nostalgic postings to the RAO about the "real men"
in the UBoats,* the brain-cortex differences between sexes ( and of
course races), the fascinating revelations that Stalin was even worse
than Hitler- which he thinks will prove something- what?, etc. etc.
smuggled in under "audio" titles. .

* Not a word about Alois Brunner, gas chamber transporter or Heim ,
the concentration camp "medical experimenter". The Austrian
Government finally got around to offering a reward for information
leading to arrest of those two "real men".
