He attempted suicide and if her survives, will never sing again. So
very sad. To stay near on topic, he appeared on some of the very best
sounding opera and Broadway studio recordings of the last 30 years; the
Bernstein conducted Candide, for example.

Very, very sad.

You knew who she was.....she was a genius at publicity if nothing
else, having been dead probably since you were a small child if that!
