Default Sound Forge 9.0 bug hunt...

Seems Sound Forge 9.0 was released several weeks ago. I took
the bait and recently upgraded from Sound Forge 5 to Sound Forge 9.0.

I've encountered something on the order of a dozen bugs, several
that crash or hang the program as well as many more (just) annoying
bugs.

I feel like a beta tester, [Note: I absolutely hate having to pay to
beta
test software] and the tech folks have offered little in the way
of help. For the most part their response has been little more than:
"that is a known issue."

I'm wondering, (for those of you that also took the bait) what bugs
you've encountered and what help you've gotten from Sony's tech
support.

Later...

You have been very unlucky. I have had nothing that crashes anything since
day 1.

When they say that, there is an iminent update that addresses the bug.

As above. Few bugs. One annoying change in default cursor behaviour that
confused a few users, that is going to be made configurable.

For some odd reason I seem to get a disproportionate number of bugs.

Anyway, the first of the "known issues" I encountered was that SF crashes
whenever "channel converter" is applied to a mono or stereo data set.
I guess "YMMV" but tech support said this is a "known issue."

Note: A few of my issues were addressed with SF-9.0a ...but this one
still crashes the program for me, ...and as such is still a major bug.

Next... ?
