Default Shure E-series vs. Etymotic ER-4 and 6 models

I'm taking a look at these two types of earbud headphones and both of
them seem pretty impressive on paper. The Etymotic ER-6 claims to
match the ear's frequency response. I was wondering if any of you
guys have listened to these earbuds and what you thought of them.
Thanks.

I would highly recommend that you try these out yourselves. They are
very sensitive to the way you insert them into your ear canals, and you
may not find them as comfortable as you like. The Shure E-2C has a
heavier cable that drapes from the back of your head down your neck, and
I find it cumbersome to use. In general, these work well on airplane
trips, but for general use, they are not the best for me.
