I'm using Cool Edit and Audacity with the idea that maybe one or the other
will do what I want. So, I'd like to exchange files between them. I created a .wav file in Audacity from tape. Then I created an .mp3 file in Audacity. Then I opened the .mp3 in Cool Edit. All I see in Cool Edit is a flat, full amplitude envelope. That seems wrong compared to doing all the same strictly in Cool Edit. What's the explanation? Thanks, Fred |
