Wharfedale BFS/3
I got a lead to a pair of Wharfedale BFS/3 speakers for free as long as I
take the pair with me complete with the sand. Anyone know about these speakers? Worth it for Vintage Amps? |

I have a set of Wharfedales that my parents bought in 1968. They were very nice sounding speakers until I loaned them out and they came back with 4 blown tweeters. These tweeters are also unobtainable and unrepairable, so I'll have to find something to replace them with. They are a very mellow sounding speaker and of pretty good quality as well. They are quite heavy for their size due to the sand filling. Don't drill any holes. -- "Yes, it is a good thing you are handy, as you clearly suck at being smart." - Herb |
