Hello,
Would it be possible to install an equalizer in the signal path,
between pre-pro and amplifier, when sources like SACD, DVD/A, DTS ect.
are used, without compromising the signal? Should the equalizer be
analog or digital?
Please advise.

Yes, and no. It's just as possible and no more degrading than using an
equalizer with other sources. That said, learning to use one can be
tricky.

Some processors and A/V receivers have room correction. The only such
that I've heard is the TaCT, expensive but definitely had a good effect.
If what you want is to tinker with recordings, s digital Behringer has
been mentioned a time or two on RAO. Try a search for the specific model.

What is it about DVD-A and SACD and DTS that lead you to feel these sources
should be equalized (and presumable not others?).
