7591 or 7591A
Hi everyone,
I have amplifier Heathkit AA-50. One of 7591 tube is burn. I have to replace it but I find the 7591A only on Triode Electronics site. My old 7591 has 7 pins... Triode Electronics 7591A tube has 8 pins... Some of you can expline the difference? Thank's lot Jean |

The 7591A was a 7591 that had the insides rotated slightly to stop oscillations. You didn't say what brand name was on your 7591. Is it a 40 year old tube or is it current manufacture? |
