Default Grado SR25 or Sure E4c for MP3 portable player

I currently have a set of Grado SR25 headphones and I am about to buy a
Zune mp3 player. I suppose I could use the Grados with it, but was
considering an inner ear type like the Sure E4c or similar. I have never
used an inner ear type before..can someone suggest how well these work with
MP3 players and how it might compare with the SR25's?
Thanks!

I've never heard E4s. But, if E4s are even half as much better than my
E3s, as my E3s were better than my E2s, (and the E2s were very good), then
E4s should be really wonderful.

Thing is that IEM listening feels a lot different than headphones, and some
people are happy with IEMs (like me) and others can't stand them.

If you want to check out the IEM experience, try a pair of Koss "The Plug"
or better yet, Sony EX71 s. They cost only a tiny fraction of the price of
E4s, but you should be able to figure out how IEMs will work for you from
them.
