Thanks James I've recently bought an Alesis io|2 USB interface: http://www.alesis.com/product.php?id=8 For me, it's perfect as it has -24 bit converters -Phantom power -XLR connections -A hardware / USB monitor knob (when latency's a problem) -Input jacks have a guitar / line switch (handy as I plug an electric guitar straight in) all in one box with no power supply needed (even with phantom power) HTH. |
