![]() I'd like to automate some audio editing tasks on a linux server, and I'm wondering if any editing tools out there that have an API rather than a GUI to help automate these tasks. Ultimately, I'd like to be able to record someone's voice through a flash recorder on a browser, create a multi-track composition on the server with a voice track and instrumentals, add reverb to the voice, and mix the whole track down to an mp3 or other stereo file. I'd like to automate this on a server. Are there any tools out there that have a programmatic interface that allows me to perform simple editing tasks without using a GUI? Thanks in advance! Jin |

Ecasound ( http://eca.cx/ecasound/ ) seems to be the right tool for this task. I use it everyday to mangle huge amounts of audio. Thanks in advance!
