Hey y'all,
I recently got a Zoom H4, and have been carting it around recording stuff to see what the little recorder is all about. I've noticed, now, a recurring problem: I keep seeing this "blip" that appears about once every 1 second, which appears to be about .1 or .12 seconds long - lets ballpark it at 6Hz. Here are two screenshots of a test sample recorded in my noisey appartment: The problem: http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/6432/longwz0.jpg Example of its repeating behavior: http://img220.imageshack.us/ img220/9443/closeam3.jpg Now, of course, I can't actually hear it, and as well I can strip uber- low frequencies out. But, I'm both curious as to what it might be, and worried that perhaps its a sign of some issue that I should be concerned about. Any ideas or insight appreciated. Please use the audio version of small words in any replies you may kindly leave - I am a novice. Thanks! -df |
