Hello all,
I have recently aqcuired a Sony TA-88 with a tuner from ebay. As i have explained in the subject title, one of the internal fuses on the brown wire, a 315mAT keeps blowing. At first I thought it would just be an old fuse. Sometimes just after a few minutes. Sometimes after a few hours, or even a days playing. I can see no dark areas on the circuit boards or anything burnt, or smell anthing untoward from the back. I got my replacement fuses from Matalan, the box reads 630mA-6,3A then a backward looking RU125V on the other side of the box it reads, 10ESKA G-Sicherungseinsatze 250V DIN EN 60127-2-3 and then handwritten over the top GL54 I have changed the power lead, (kettle type) - no difference. Any advice would be nice. Jim |
