Default bbe maxcom, can you plug mic in direct?

bbe maxcom, can you plug a mic in directly into the xlr? i want to use
it as a mono mixer. one side for my music source and the other for the
mic input. i think the link buttom joins both side for a mono output.
plus i get the benefits of the sonic maximizer and compresser limiter.
let me know if this is possible...

It expects a line level signal. You might get some output but it will
be nasty and low.
